St. Mark
Medaryville

We believe that the Bible is the inspired or “God-breathed” word of God.

It is how the Holy Spirit speaks God’s Word to us today. We trust God as he speaks through every word of the Bible.

We believe that we are saved only by God’s grace. The Bible says that this gift of grace comes to us only through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe that God, through The Bible, calls us to share His grace with all people.

Our Church

St Mark Lutheran Church became a member congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod Indiana District on December 31, 1976. LCMS congregations accept and preach the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
